This program is designed with the aim to provide facilitation and support to our expecting mothers to ensure that expecting mothers are being taken care of. This program enables expecting mothers to take on the new role in an easy and exciting way. It provides tips on managing self and the baby, and counselling sessions with our panel of psychologists to help new mothers cope up with the changes that may affect them in their lives.

This program develops women in the engineering field by providing them internship where they will get an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical situations. The internship includes self-development training and personal growth activities by in-house trainers, job shadowing along with group projects as given by the respective departments.

KE Returnship Policy offers project based contractual opportunities to women professionals who have been on a career break or are unable to work full time due to personal commitments. Women who want to return to work represent a motivated talent pool that can we brought up to speed with the right training support.

Under this policy, women professionals can successfully resume their careers through coaching, mentoring, personal development, career revitalization & networking.

KE has partnered with WePOWER, a women’s professional network in Energy and Power Sector in South Asia, that collaborates with World Bank to support women’s participation in energy projects and institutions and promotes normative change regarding women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.

The platform has produced a case study to showcase KE’s efforts in promoting gender diversity within the Organization which is published on their official platforms. For this particular case, the World Bank worked closely with Harvard Business School (HBS) to do a series of SAR Gender and Energy Business Case Studies Series that employs a data-driven approach and builds on anecdotal evidence-based studies in the past. This study is a first step towards gathering data to measure impacts for evidence for gender diversity and performance in the energy sector utilities.

This program provides women with the opportunity to network with other women in KE to form a close-knit community of support. It helps make female employee’s life easier and more meaningful by providing various enablers, where and when needed.

The program also helps women grow in the organization to take on more leadership positions by giving them the right support / development, mentorship, and skillsets.
