All Billing Done as Per Regulatory Processes and Guidelines – KE Re-Iterates Its Commitment

Karachi – May 23, 2017:  K-Electric has deployed the latest technology in various facets of its operations. The company ensures compliance with all regulatory processes and guidelines and very implicantly with respect to billing.

K-Electric has invested significantly on high end technology and in some of the world’s best technological intervention including implementation of SAP IS-U, the world’s leading system for billing and use of handheld devices for meter reading which ensures efficiency, eliminates human intervention and creates transparency. KE has also been endorsed by various national and regional stakeholders for ensuring best practices of disclosure and transparency in 2017.

The power utility has refuted the matter relating to PKR 62 billion and has declared it baseless. The same has been refuted by the relevant competent authority as well.

Various Charges and fees included in the bills such as PTV license etc are submitted to respective organizations, and KE does not retain a penny. It is pertinent to note that all aspects of KE operations are subject to monthly, quarterly and yearly review by the regulatory authority.
