KE’s Rapid Response in Restoring Energy and Reversing Damage due to Aircraft Collision

Karachi, June 05, 2014: KE issued a statement that due to the recent Pakistan Air Force Plane crash, the system of electricity transmission was badly affected. As the aircraft collided with the power supply infrastructure; many poles and 35 PMTs damaged as a result. However, KE maintenance teams immediately undertook the remedial efforts to repairs these PMTs without any delay. KE maintenance teams have been working rigorously day in and day out on nonstop basis. So far KE has successfully recovered from 95% of the damage and soon the electricity supply will be restored in the entire area.
