Karachi, 17th July, 2014: K-Electric, formerly KESC was proud to announce that the company has been included for trading in Deliverable Futures and Cash Settled Futures Contracts for the first time, which shows the increasing investor confidence in the scrip.
A notice was issued by the Karachi Stock Exchange, which is Pakistan’s largest stock market, in which K-Electric, having symbol of KEL, was included in the futures market along with five other companies.
KE’s press statement added that this inclusion was done as per the Deliverable Futures Contract Market Regulations and Cash Settled Futures Contract Market Regulations, and after proper determination, a revised list of Eligible Securities for trading in the Futures market was released. This uniform selection criteria was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
The notice issued by the Karachi Stock Exchange also said that the revised list of Eligible Securities will be applicable from the opening of September 2014 Deliverable Futures Contract and November 2014 for the Cash Settled Futures Contract.
