Karachi, 9th September 2014: K-Electric (KE) has issued a press statement in which the company was pleased to announce that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers Of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) has awarded the power utility with the 2nd FPCCI Achievement Award ’13.
The award ceremony was held at a local hotel in Karachi where award was received by Usama Qureshi, Chief of Staff to CEO on behalf of K-Electric from the Honorable President of Pakistan, Syed Mamnoon Hussain.
Giving details the press statement added that this award was presented to K-Electric for their unprecedented investment of USD 1 billion in power generation along with introducing efficient and effective policies to overcome the power crisis in the city. KE’s business friendly policies were also appreciated by the FPCCI leadership and members.
According to the press statement this award reflects the fact that the business community supports and trusts K-Electric’s vision and the continual steps it is taking towards improving its infrastructure, network and services.
