Heavy down pour on Sunday night caused some feeders to trip which were restored immediately: KE Spokesperson
Karachi, July 27, 2015: In a press statement issued by K-Electric, it stated that rains on Sunday night caused a few feeders to trip in some areas however despite the change in weather conditions rapid response teams acted promptly restoring power supply immediately after identifying faults and power was supplied like usual to all areas of Karachi.
The spokesperson further added that keeping in mind the current monsoon season, K-Electric’s rain emergency response teams are on standby in every area in order restore power supply in case of any faults that may occur due to rains and heavy winds. K-Electric’s rain emergency response teams are prepared to tackle any situation occurring round the clock.
K-Electric once again requested all its customers to inform and stay away from any broken wires, electrical poles and collapsed trees by calling on 118 and 021-99000 or by SMS to 8119 or register their complaint on KE’s digital platform.
