Karachi, September 16, 2017: K-Electric has reiterated its continued commitment to eradicate power theft against all odds and strongly condemns the attack against its teams in Nazimabad block 1 during a hook (Kunda) removal exercise.
As per the press statement, during removal, KE teams faced resistance from Kunda Mafia who assaulted the team. The employees were safely extracted with the support of law enforcement agencies.
As per KE Spokesperson, “It is despicable and unfortunate that members of our hardworking team were assaulted. Physical violence in all form and manner must be condemned. Our teams are dedicated to serve the people of Karachi. Incidents like these strengthen our resolve and determination to crackdown harder on power thieves.”
