Karachi, December 5, 2014: K-Electric has submitted a request to NEPRA to reduce 74 paisa per unit on account of monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) for the month of October, 2014.

KE’s Spokesperson stated, “Considering reduction in fuel mix prices, we have requested NEPRA for reduction in electricity tariff for providing relief and benefits to the consumers of the city.”

Furthermore, with respect to KE’s submitted request NEPRA has issued a hearing notification which will be held on 11 December, 2014 in Islamabad. NEPRA’s approval of this request will provide significant relief to consumers in the form of reduced bills.
